PERINATAL TRAIL OF THE REPRODUCTIVE SYSTEM IN ADOLESCENT GIRLS BORN PRETERM
Abstract
Objective: To assess the reproductive system of adolescent girls born preterm. Materials and methods: Two hundred adolescent girls aged 15-16 born preterm and full-term were studied with laboratory, ultrasound, statistical methods. Results: Statistically significant difference in the main indicators of the reproductive system in adolescent girls born preterm compared to those born full-term, namely, menstrual functions, sexual maturation, the size of the pelvis and gynecologic diseases has been estimated. Conclusion: Miscarriage makes a change in the formation of the reproductive system in the postnatal period and contributes to its pathology.
