Effondrement ou évolution de la civilisation de l’Oxus ?
Abstract
The disappearance of the Oxus Civilization in southern Central Asia in the middle of the second millennium BCE represents a major break in the historical development of the area and forms an interesting study case of sociocultural transitions. Through the examination of the evolution of the ceramic productions at this period, the article discusses the impact of the interactions between the diverse cultural groups on the changes, as well as the spatiotemporal variability of the transitional processes between the Bronze and Iron Ages.
