ADSORPTION COOLING SYSTEMS AS AN ALTERNATIVE FOR THE USE OF RESIDUAL HEAT AND SOLAR ENERGY
Abstract
This document makes a synthesis of a cooling system called adsorption that can be operated by a source of energy at low temperature (60 ° C-70 ° C) such as waste heat or solar energy and can be an alternative to cooling or air conditioning, traditionally carried out by mechanical compression equipment; which still have the disadvantage of using refrigerants that contribute to the destruction of the ozone layer and increase energy consumption, energy that in its large percentage comes from non-renewable sources.
