In the article he/she is carried out an analysis of the existent difficulties in the environmental education in the Universidad de Oriente through the exhibition of the different factors that you/they impact in her trying to show the integration among the same ones. He/she stands out that those factors cannot exist one without the other one in their influence in the environmental education creating among them an unique complex fabric. The factors are presented through four groups centering the attention in the medullary factors of the environmental education, among which are: the scientific investigation, the docencia, the ambientalización, the pertinent knowledge of the environmental education (medioambiente, environmental education, complexity, globalization and sustainable development and the environmental knowledge). he/she was carried out a qualitative empiric study to describe some of the results of the environmental education in the U.O. centered in interviews to depth and participant observations that allowed to obtain a sociological perspective of the environmental education in the center in question.
