This article traces the construction of TopoRadio, an interactive map that showcases publications and archives relating to research on Spanish-language radio in the U.S. Furthermore, TopoRadio promotes a more inclusive and comprehensive narrative of U.S. radio history by improving the representation of contributions from Latinx broadcasters. The article traces the development of the map and offers a case study of how geospatial visualization is a viable method for displaying bibliographic information. The article describes each phase of creating TopoRadio including selecting publications, designing a metadata schema, applying bibliometric analysis, geocoding, and appraising potential GIS software. This article concludes with an evaluation of the map’s usefulness as a research tool as well as a meta-analysis of publications in the field of Spanish-language radio studies included on the map.
