A creative relaxation programme and its incidence on children’s motor creativity
Abstract
In this study we analyse the effects that a creative relaxation programme can have on the levels of motor creativity (fluidity, originality and imagination) of a group of children in the last year of Infant Education. For this purpose, two groups of children took part: a control group that did not receive an intervention programme and an experimental group that received a creative relaxation programme. The levels of motor creativity of the two groups were assessed using the test Thinking Creatively in Action and Movement by Torrance. A significant improvement in the variables studied was perceived in the experimental group in comparison to the control group.
