Advances in Venezuelan geodetic datum transformations between La Canoa and the geocentric WGS-84 reference system

Abstract

New calculations related to the determination of transformation parameters between the national geodetic (La Canoa-Hayford) and the geocentric satellite datum WGS-84, used as reference system for GPS coordinates, are analysed. Parameters of a national and regional nature obtained under different calculation conditions with corresponding quality tests are presented.
