Abstract

The virginal conception of Jesus Christ: Remarks on an important debate Although not completely neglected, the current day discussion elsewhere in the world about the virginal conception of Jesus Christ seemingly does not receive much attention in the Afrikaans churches in South Africa. With special reference to publications of a few foreign New Testament scholars, this article is aimed at stimulating this debate and dialogue between New Testament and systematic theologians.
