Information Technology: a Strategy for Efficient and Effective Management of Human Resources
Abstract
Increasing environmental challenges have directed organizations toward to two facilitators: human resource management and information technology. In this paper, the researchers intended to examine the relationship between the information technology and human resource management. The research design was descriptive-practical. The population of study was the human resource professionals and R & D staffs at Central Bank IRI. The instrument for data collection was questionnaire. The results established the relationship between information technology application and performance of human resource management. However, findings showed that despite this relationship, there was the misalignment between these two facilitators in that organization, and information technology was still considered as a supportive function in organization. Spearman correlation test was used for examining hypothesizes. At the end, SEM was used for testing mode
