The article presents the performed forecast of probable scenarios of accidental oil spills in transshipment activities on the water. It considers the main causes of possible accidents, which include various types of damage to nodal components of transshipment equipment during loading-unloading operations between ships. The authors have carried out the calculations of volumes and masses of accidental spills of diesel fuel, gasoil and fuel oil depending on the conditions of occurrence of accidents. The practical significance of the work, along with the scopes of the results obtained is discussed.
