Between Eburomagus (Bram) and Sostomagus (Castelnaudary) the layout of the road of Aquitaine is completed by the study of images from the air and ground observation. It is noticeable that the orientations of three of its broken lines coincide with those of the antique agrarian structures organising the plain. There is no sign that the layout is recent but that it has been established concomitantly with these structures, shortly after the creation of the province of Transalpine. We have to do with an optimal layout according to the topography, enriched by three stations unknown to the antique itineraries.
