This article presents new perspective on Smart Citys. Technology becomes increasingly integrated into urban environments, the article explores the multifaceted challenges that smart cities encounter in their quest for sustainability. The discourse navigates through defining smart cities, integrating sustainable development principles and addressing environmental, social, and economic challenges. Key themes include the importance of social equity, economic ramifications, technological infrastructure, and cybersecurity.
