Management of services of idleness and recreation at the historical zone of Santiago de Cuba
Abstract
The article presented makes emphasis in the cultural subjects that impinge in the process of management of organizations for the idleness and the recreation in the cultural area at the city of Santiago de Cuba. The analysis is marked on the historical zone of the city, with the objective of determine the level of management of the cultural services of idleness and recreation, specifically in the libraries and the factor related with this activity. Subjects as the organizational culture and service’s culture are related with the subject of management, by introducing a different and uncommon way of study in the scientific literature. The utilization of techniques like interview, observation and questionnaire prove the imbrications of qualitative and quantitative methods. The interpretation reveals the inexistence of a service’s culture that hinders the progress of the process of management.
