Reading Precolonial Egypt's Impact on Modern Society with a Focus on Culture, Art, Architecture, Science and Religion.

Abstract

Abstract : This study focuses on precolonial Egypt's impact on Modern Society including culture art, architecture, science, and religion. The problematic of the study is that very few people, especially in postcolonial Africa, are aware of the great impact of Ancient Egyptian civilization on the modern world. The objective of the study is therefore to show the impact of precolonial Egypt on the modern world across different domains. The qualitative research method has been used to collect the data of the study. This method has been used because of its relevance to work of civilization. To ensure a better implementation of the study, the data were analyzed and interpreted in the theoretical contexts of Eurocentrism and Afrocentricity. As a result, the findings have revealed that precolonial Egypt deeply influenced modern society in the areas of art, architecture, science, and religion.
