Geometrias barrocas no romance Lavoura arcaica, de Raduan Nassar

Abstract

This work aims to analyze the novel Lavoura arcaica, by Raduan Nassar, with basis on the triadic relationship house-body-text, taking the baroque as a reading operator. Thus, in view of the formal construction of the work, it intends to reflect on the possible implications that baroque traits can bring to its textuality. So, this study seeks to demonstrate that the tripod mentioned, from the viewpoint of the baroque writing, leads to look about man’s relationship with himself and with the society, opening up in a wider spectrum of human existential reflection.
