Examining the influence of benefits and risks of outsourcing on attitude of business managers towards outsourcing service and level among companies in Can Tho City

Abstract

Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was employed to examine the influence of benefits and risks of outsourcing on attitude of business managers towards outsourcing service and level. Data was gathered through interviewing 101 companies hiring outsourced service in Can Tho city. The results show that benefits derived from outsourcing have more influence on attitude of business managers towards outsourcing than potential risks of an outsourced service. Besides, attitude towards outsourced service directly and positively influence the outsourcing level.The findings also indicate that benefits and risks of outsourcing service has an indirect affect on outsourcing level of companies in Can Tho city moderated by their attitude towards outsourcing.
