Focal nodular hyperplasia of the liver with pseudo-angiomatous appearance of the central area: MRI findings and pathophysiological insights

Abstract

<p>We report an unusual case of focal nodular hyperplasia (FNH) with angioma-like vascularity in the central scar illustrated on MRI and proven by histopathology. The vascular theory of common causative factors in FNH and haemangioma is discussed.</p>
