This review examines the impact of teeth whitening on oral health during pregnancy, highlighting common dental changes that can occur during this time, such as pregnancy gingivitis and increased risk of tooth decay. It also discusses the safety of teeth whitening and provides recommendations and precautions for pregnant women considering this cosmetic treatment. The results show that consulting a dentist is essential before starting any teeth whitening procedure, and prioritizing dental and baby health during pregnancy is crucial for making informed and responsible decisions regarding dental aesthetic procedures.
