Comparative Analysis of the Usefulness of AIS and ARPA for Anti-collision Purposes

Abstract

The article discusses the principles of presenting data available from AIS and radar tracking on ship's radar display units and describes the results of comparative studies of the accuracy of their indications on sea-going vessels in real meeting situations in various hydro meteorological conditions.
