Teachers' Self-Efficacy Beliefs Regarding Gender Differences and Academic Levels at Koya University
Abstract
The research aims are to measure the Koya University teacher self-efficacy, gender differences effect and its relationship with their academic levels. To achieve these aims, 72 Koya University teachers voluntarily participated. For collecting the data, a 10-item instrument with 5 options have been adapted, the validity and validity for the instrument were at satisfied level. Using SPSS as a tool for analyzing the data, the research found the level of teachers’ self-efficacy very high, and gender has no effect of their teaching efficacy level even though the female scored higher but was not statistically significant. In addition, the research found negative relationship between the teachers’ academic level and teacher self-efficacy, but wasn’t statistically significant.
