Polizei-Durchgangslager Bozen, 1944-45. Cenni di storia

Abstract

The purpose of this essay is to understand the operating mode of the Polizei-Durchgangslager Bozen (Bolzano) which started during the german occupation in spring 1944 until May 1945. Current research has investigated – although it hasn’t been completely clarified – the organisation and structure of the camp, and even the characteristics of the prisoner population.
