The paper presents data on clinical and epidemiological features of typhoid fever during the periods of 1998–2000 and 2001–2014. Failing efficient antibacterial therapy for the causative agent of typhoid fever, the course of the disease remains cyclic but the periods of intoxication and fever are increased. Southern provinces of the Republic reports low percentage (2.2%) of serologically confirmed cases of typhoid fever. In 1998–2000, almost all patients with typhoid fever were hospitalized during the first week from the disease onset. During the period of 2001–2014, typhoid fever patients were hospitalized during the second week from the disease onset.
