Physiologic and agronomic response of soybean variety ‘Conquista’ [ Glycine max (L.) Merr.]
Abstract
In order to correlate the physiologic and agronomic response of soybean variety ‘Conquista’ with different climatic variables, an investigation was developed in two sowing seasons (rainy and dry season); during three serial years on a Brown soil from the Agricultural Experimental Station “Álvaro Barba Machado”,Cuba. In each one of the sowing seasons the indexes of growth: foliar area, rate of net assimilation and foliarproductivity index were calculated, as well as yield indexes which included the biological and economic yield, and the weight of 100 seeds. The significant correlations corresponded to the temperature and relative humidity, due to with the cumulative of precipitations there were not a statistical significance.
