The AUKUS military alliance between Australia, the United Kingdom and the United States of America aims to deepen military, industrial and innovation integration to maintain a technological advantage over competitors such as China and protect the interests of these three nations in the Pacific. It has been established that the interest in the study of the sphere of economic and legal existence of the AUKUS defense alliance has recently attracted more and more researchers in the direction of defense expenditures. The issue of formation and use of the alliance’s defense expenditures is becoming more and more relevant every year, based on the high cost of the partner project and the search for sources of its financing, as well as the difficulties of implementing this project. Two components of AUKUS have been identified: the creation of nuclear submarines with conventional weapons and the expansion of defense capabilities. The directions of cooperation of the member countries of the alliance accelerate and deepen the development and provision of advanced military forces and means. The strategic coordination of the national defense strategies of the pact participants, based on common values, promotes unprecedented cooperation in the field of advanced technologies. In the near future, AUKUS partners should focus their attention on mobilizing capital, particularly from the private sector, to invest in technology and defense infrastructure to meet the most pressing needs of the military alliance.
