Profile of a glioma
Abstract
The authors demonstrate a unique clinicoradiologic correlation. A low-grade cortical glioma bisected by a large parietal vein created deep scalloping in the overlying skull. This was demonstrated on preoperative MR imaging and confirmed at surgery. Slow-growing superficial brain tumors can leave their mark on the adjacent calvaria.
