MUERTOS POR MUERTOS. UNA LECTURA DE TRES NOVELAS DE ÁLVARO BISAMA

Abstract

El 18 de octubre de 2019 la población chilena vociferó “No son 30 pesos, son 30 años”, insinuando un tiempo dormido. El artículo propone una lectura de las décadas posteriores a la dictadura a partir de tres novelas del autor Álvaro Bisama. Sitúa primero el corpus para establecer sus singularidades en relación con el periodo representado. Luego se pretende entender el modo en que los textos elaboran un ordenamiento espacio-temporal determinante para la articulación biográfica de los personajes. Se intenta, finalmente, esbozar cuáles son los mecanismos que el autor dispone para expresar una lógica entre sujeto y escritura. On October 18th 2019, the Chilean population shouted: “It’s not about 30 pesos, it’s about 30 years”, suggesting a dormant period. This article proposes an analysis of the decades that followed the ending of the dictatorship through three novels by author Alvaro Bisama. It establishes, first, the body of work in order to establish its singularities regarding its relation to the period represented. Second, it attempts to understand the way these texts elaborate a determining space-time framework for the biographical articulation of the characters. Finally, it aims to outline what mechanisms are available to express a link between the subject and writing.
