O GOLPE DE ESTADO NO BRASIL EM 2016 E INFLEXÕES NA POLÍTICA DE EDUCAÇÃO SUPERIOR
Abstract
The article reflects on the Brazilian conjuncture after the coup d’état of 2016, considering the plot and main political forces involved in the episode, the consequent deepening of the economic, political and institutional crisis, its meaning in the context of the capital crisis, and the political, legislative and administrative measures that have resulted, and which have a clear regressive content in social, labor and political rights, especially in higher education. The analysis also develops considering the autocratic roots of Brazilian society and its peculiarities as late capitalist development, dependent and heteronomous, fundamental determinations for the generation of a new period with restricted democracy.
