Comparative Law has an increasingly role in Law professionals’ education, as well as in Political Sciences and Economics studies. Comparative Law applied to commercial and economic regulation is, indeed, an essential supplement to Law and Economics programmes, particularly whether the studies are led under a problem-oriented approach. The problem solving approach appears to be the most effective in teaching, and it is also a valuable comparative method that enhances the role of the lawyer as a custodian of values and fundamental rights in the global framework of contemporary Social Sciences, which seems to be dominated by the economic hyper-efficiency principles.
