The change in public awareness always directly affects people’s behavior. When an epidemic breaks out in a population, a severe epidemic situation can cause panic among people, while a less severe epidemic may lead to its harmful effects being overlooked. This paper has established a nonlinear infectious disease model based on mean field evolutionary game theory, aimed at exploring the impact of the epidemic scale on people’s vaccination behavior. Additionally, based on this nonlinear infectious disease model, we have developed an optimal control system to explore vaccination behavior under optimal control. To enhance the practicality of the model, we have introduced multiple convex structured parameters, leading to a variety of epidemic prevention strategies. This provides decision-makers with two types of epidemic prevention strategies based on vaccination: aggressive and conservative.
