Hungarian family law regulations by the new Civil Code (CC)

Abstract

In this paper we deal only with family law provisions of the Hungarian Civil Code with special emphasis on marriage, parental rights, support of children and relatives, adoption, foster care and guardianship. The comparison is made between the provisions of the Hungarian and the Serbian CC and the regulations of the Family Law. Bearing in mind that Serbia will soon need to adopt a new Civil Code which will contain regulations of family law, we think that this work may serve in considering some solutions.
