AbstractArdalani dialect belonging to the central group of Kurdish dialects, is mainly spoken in Sanandaj and its suburbs. The word “Ardalani” is derived from the name of Ardalan family who had ruled over the city. The dialect is also known as “Sanandaji (Sene’i)”. This article is devoted to the verb conjugation in Ardalani dialect. At the first, verb components such as stems, personal endings, verb inflectional affixes are discussed. Then the formation of in different tenses, modes, and voices, as well as the modals and auxiliaries are discussed. According to the results of this research, the most important characteristic of Ardalani dialect is preserving the passive stem of Old and Middle Iranian which distinguishes it from other Iranian languages. Another characteristic is that Ergative structure is used in conjugation of the past tense of transitive verbs.
