This article presents the contributions that the Learning Communities project is making for the social and educational transformation of the neighborhoods La Estrella and La Milagrosa. It explains the important role played by the schools in these neighborhoods and how the community model implemented in the social and educational actions has been enriched by the contributions of the programs Inclu-ed and Urbanitas. It also describes how this process has led to the development of the Educational Project of the Barrios La Estrella and La Milagrosa, a project that is allowing community and dialogic work between the teachers from the schools, the families, and organizations and institutions of Albacete.
