Pulmonary calcifications are divided in metastasic, dystrophic andidiopathic; they represent an important aspect in the differentiationof the nodular imaging, frequently we identify images with littlespecify in simple chest radiology, requiring the accomplishment ofthe TAC of thorax for the correct interpretation. Settling down eastexamination like the gold standar, in some special cases the aid of thenuclear medicine is needed with technetium 99 scintigraphy. Casepresentation evidence an asintomatic patient does not require anymedical treatment an can get to represent a diagnostic challenger.It takes a best compression of the pulmonary calcifications aboutthe origin, physiophatology, diagnoses, prognosis and treatment,forming a global vision of the processes that produce pulmonarycalcifications.
