Stres kerja ditinjau dari shift kerja pada karyawan
Abstract
Work shift was one of the company’s strategies to maximaze company’s productivity and efficiency. Meanwhile, this strategy has potentially caused employees work stress. Accordingly, this descriptive-quantitative study aimed at investigating the difference of the work stress of the employees in production division of PT.UNISEM Batam based on their work shift. The study was conducted to 121 employee by using purposive sampling technique and the data were collected using work stress scale. Further, oneway anova was used to analyze the data and test the differences of the three or more clusters of the data in the same variable which was work stress. The findings revealed that the employees work stress significantly differed in relation to the work shift of the employees. The result was p=0.000 (p<0.05) which signified that the employees at night shift had higher stress level with mean 71.25 compared to those in the morning shift with mean 64.57 and those in the afternoon shift with mean 60.72.
