París y los ambos mundos : une capitale au cœur du dispositif de production et de mise en circulation de livres et de journaux, en espagnol, au xixe siècle
Abstract
During the 19th Century, Paris was a centre for the publication of books and periodicals in Spanish. The majority of them were exported to Latin American countries. Publishers and editors of reviews, both French and Hispanic, were interested in this new, vast and promising market. For decades they flooded Brazil, Argentina and other countries with their production and some of them even opened bookshops there. This trade of cultural goods was responsible for many transfers and an important circulation of men and ideas.
