Religious discourse in the creativity of Yuriy Lypa (historiographical review)

More than 30 years have passed since the return of the name of the Ukrainian public, cultural, and political figure Yuriy Ivanovych Lypa (1900-1944). During this time, more than a thousand publications have appeared, including dissertations on the work of a doctorwriter- thinker, which testifies to the great interest of Ukrainian scientists in his legacy. But from the appearance of the first reviews in 1917 to the end of the twentieth century. there were only a few articles dealing with religious issues in the works of Yu. Lypa. Religious issues in Yuri Lypa‘s work are identified with «religious journalistic and artistic discourse». Ago the article summarizes the modern scientific work on religious discourse in the works of Yu. Lypa. The possibility of applying the concept of «religious publicistic and artistic discourse» in the Yu. Lypa‘s works is substantiated; classifications its study are proposed: by authors-researchers (T. Ananchenko, O. Astafiev, V. Baran, M. Zhilin, O. Kitsera, T. Meyzerskaya, D. Mokrentsov, V. Prosalova, V. Tovkaylo, A Shishkova etc.); by works of Yu. Lypa (poems from the collection «I believe», publicistic works «Purpose of Ukraine», «Ukrainian woman», «Black Sea doctrine», «Dominance, work and order», reviews - «Front guard», «A huge task: Holy Scripture in the native language»); by years of publications (2000-2020); by objects of research (the Yu. Lypa’s life path and creative heritage: poetry, publicism, reviews); by subjects of research (prerequisites of religiosity of Yu. Lypa and religious worldview of Ukrainians, originations and future of the Ukrainian church, prophecies, idea of God-centeredness, concept of «soul» etc.); by areas of religious discourse (publicism, poetry). Unexplored works of Yu. Lypa and unanalyzed religious concepts in his work are revealed.
