This paper discusses the importance of developing management skills. Therefore, using simulation in virtual environment, within the context of academic graduation, students are experienced in the exercise of decision-making. At the end of this process the students proceed to transcript in a questionnaire the perception of their individual learning. This instrument subsidizes the qualitative approach of the study, through the construction of a case study that describes how simulation helps in the development of the forming elements of the core competencies of the administrator. The preliminary results indicate that, respectively, these elements focus on developing leadership skills, on the ability to organize, on the integration and adapting the knowledge afforded by systemic vision and ability to plan. In parallel, proactive and determinated behaviors makes desirable conditions from the view of the respondents. In this regard, it is observed that the formation of verified skills is aligned with the last evaluation conducted nationally by CFA (Federal Council of Management).
