In modern construction, one of the important aspects is the management of collisions in engineering systems, such as pipelines, ducts, electrical wiring, etc. Collisions can lead to delays in the project, reallocation of resources, and even to significant financial losses. It is known that the implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) technologies in construction practices can significantly facilitate the detection and management of collisions. However, there are questions regarding the specific impact of BIM on the efficiency of collision problem resolution in various types of construction projects. It is also important to consider potential difficulties and limitations when implementing BIM in the process of resolving collisions in engineering systems. Investigating these aspects will help understand the full scope of BIM’s impact on the efficiency of collision management in construction and develop recommendations for the practical application of this technology.
