Estado de salud en operadoras de pantallas de visualización de datos

Abstract

Se realizó un estudio exploratorio mediante interrogatorio a un grupo de operadoras de pantallas de visualización que laboraban de forma continua en la introducción o captación de datos, con el objetivo de determinar la posible asociación de esta actividad laboral con alteraciones patológicas, la presencia de fatiga y estrés. Se observó relación entre las alteraciones de salud más frecuentes reportadas (fatiga, síntomas osteomioarticulares, trastornos oculares y nerviosos) y la existencia de condiciones ergonómicas deficientes, todo ello asociado a situaciones estresantes, lo cual coincide con hallazgos reportados por otros autores.An exploratory study by means of a questionnarie applied to video display screens workers who worked continously in the introduction and obtention of data was carried out with the objective of determining the possible association of this type of work with certain pathologic alterations, the presence of fatigue and stress. A relationship be ween the most frequent health alterations reported (fatigue, osteomyoarticular symptoms, ocular and nervous disorders) and the occurrence of deficient ergometric conditions was observed; all of these associated with stressing situations that coincide with findings reported before by other authors.
