This essay aimed to construct a theoretical framework on violence in physical education classes. Based on a literature, the essay shows the distinction between aggression and violence and analyzes the violence in society, the family and the school, concluding with references about physical education classes and violence. It is evident the need for political education regarding school violence and the commitment of teachers and teachers to develop awareness of their role in the formation and development of the personality of their students through the development of socialization, cooperation, construction limits, urging for dialogue for the formation of critical students and responsible for their actions.
