Une socialisation au travail émotionnel dans le métier de coiffeur
Abstract
The article highlights which of the socialisation processes associated with emotional work are necessary for a successful service provision – as well as the specific context in which such work is mobilised. Based on fieldwork conducted in several barbershops and at an Apprentice Training Centre, it demonstrates how emotional work derives from different kinds of socialisation (involving management, co-workers and teachers) and varies according to gender.
