Welfare of beasts and hypocrisy of the law

Abstract

It is important to use words rightfully, especially in the law, in order not to betray the reality in a reductive or enhanced way. This article reconsiders the use of the word "beasts", when speaking of animals, and the notion of "animal welfare" in inappropriate contexts. This, for the law and common language to be more fair, towards our fellow nonhuman animals.
