This study aimed at analyzing the scientific information of the Duazary Journal, between 2012 and 2016. For that, a descriptive and cross-sectional bibliometric analysis was performed, including 98 published papers, based on the following indexes: paper typology, number of papers per year, institutional affiliation, collaboration index, topic, citations, and language. The results show that international contributions have increased since 2014 and papers classified in the areas of health sciences and clinical medicine (95%) predominate. Likewise, it was found that more than 50% of the total manuscripts correspond to original research papers, written mostly in Spanish. Therefore, increasing the number of papers published in English constitutes an opportunity for the journal improvement.
