To cognition of systematic of a genus Conorhynchus sensu lato (Coleoptera: Curculionidae: Lixinae)

Abstract

On the basis of study of a structure internal sacs and “terminalia” of female it is offered to reconsider volume of this sort Conorhynchus (sensu Alonso-Zarazaga et Lyal). It is necessary to abolish subgenus Conorhynchus (s. str.) and Conorhynchus (Pycnodactylus) by giving them the patrimonial status - Conorhynchus and Pycnodactylus, stat. rev., to that many domestic researchers [Ter-Minosian, 1970, 1988 adhered; Bajtenov, 1974]. It is necessary to consider an original structure rostrum, on the basis of which these taxons were united earlier, convergent and not bearing phylogenetic of loading. From genus Conorhynchus it is necessary to transfer to a genus Pycnodactylus two species - P. excavatus Zoubk., comb. n. and P. schrenki Gebl., comb. n. A situation P. arabs Ol. while remains uncertain and it is possible, that it deserves the special status
