In this study, effects of cutting parameters and cutting tool formation on machinability were examined in Dublex 1.4462 stainless steel in turning which is increasingly used due to its high mechanical properties. Experiments were carried out at constant cutting speed (80 m / min), two different feeds (0.225-0.3 mm / rev) and three different cutting depths (0.75-1-1.25 mm). In cutting experiments, trade grade SNMG120408-QM and SNMG120408-SMR PVD 1105 TiAlN coated carbide cutting tools were used. As a result of the tests performed, the best results were obtained with a cutting depth of 0,75 mm, a feed rate of 0.225, and a SMR chip form in terms of the average cutting force and the average roughness of the surface.
