Reconfigurer « Hansel et Gretel » pour la scène : enjeux esthétiques et idéologiques de la transposition théâtrale contemporaine
Abstract
The article examines four contemporary plays for young people that revisit and update the Grimm's fairy tale "Hansel and Gretel". These singular reconfigurations deserve attention for their aesthetic and ideological options. The dramaturgies implemented by the different authors rely on the violent substratum of the source tale to question situations of family and social tensions, which can be given a socio-poetic reading.
