Style requirements of the pockets of the outdoor jackets based on KANO mode
Abstract
In order to understand people's demand and preference for the style modeling of garment pocket, kansei engineering and KANO model were combined to analyze the relationship between various perceptual factors and the style modeling of garment pocket, and explore the elements most in line with consumers' demand for the style modeling of garment pocket. The evaluation method of kansei engineering was applied to evaluate 14 groups of perceptual word pairs and concluded into four perceptual needs through factor analysis, namely, style design, style design, functional zoning and safety. With multiple linear regression analysis method, the linear relationship between perceptual demand and style evaluation of garment pocket and the weight of each demand were obtained. Then, the KANO model method was used to analyze three demand attributes of garment pocket: necessary (linear demand), attractive (nonlinear demand) and desired (nonlinear demand). The results show that safety and style design are necessary attributes with greater weight: style design belongs to the charm attribute; and functional partitions are expected properties. It is proposed that style design (charm type demand) and function partition (expectation type demand) should be given priority as the breakthrough point of design. This method takes into account not only the influence of linear factors, but also the potential influence of nonlinear factors, which provides a reference for the direction of the garment modeling design.
