Kırsal Bölgelerde Su Ürünleri Tüketim Alışkanlığına Etki Eden Faktörlerin Belirlenmesi: Çan (Çanakkale) Örneği
Abstract
In this study, in order to determine the approaches of people in Çan/Çanakkale towards seafood consuming, a questionnaire has been applied to 420 consumers using simple random sample method in November - December 2018. As a result of the study, we identified the locals’ priorities of fish consuming, the reasons of not consuming, the consuming types, and on which types their consuming habits intense. It is identified that 84.29% of consumers in Çan eat fish but mostly consumed meat types are as in order; White meat (48.42%), red meat (36.83%) and fish (12.27%). Anchovy from sea fish (23%) and trout / salmon from fresh water fish (35%) take the first rank. Besides, it is determined that seafood consumption per capita in Çan/Çanakkale is 13.28 kg/year.
