SERGHEI BESEADÎNSKI – OUTSTANDING PERSONALITY IN THE HISTORY OF CREATING THE NATIONAL PIANO SCHOOL

Abstract

Serghei Ferapontovici Beseadînski is one of the brightest representatives of the native piano school. His personal contribution to training the teachers and pianists from Moldova is considerable. His disciples work successfully in the Republic as well as abroad. Practically nothing has been written about S. Beseadînski’s personality. The materials, presented in the article, were selected from his personal file kept in the archives of the Academy of Music, Theatre and Fine Arts and from the memories of his colleagues, friends and disciples. This article contains biographical data, restored according to his work-record. His activities are mentioned as pedagogical, methodical-didactic and interpretative. The given material selectively mentions his important disciples, the continuers of the professional traditions promoted by Serghei Beseadînski.
