Abstract
The article looks at the phenomenon of the rediscovery of Irène Némirovsky through the eyes of a particular reader: a journalist-researcher responsible for presenting, in the pages of the Italian daily with which she collaborated, all of Irène's novels published after Suite française, which triggered the series of publishing revivals. In the first part, the article recounts the meetings with the writer's two daughters, twenty years apart, for interviews about their mother and her work. The second part presents some of the features of Irène Némirovsky's novels that made it possible to write these accounts from a journalist's point of view, each time choosing an element that becomes the specific mark of a constant expressive power.
